Starr Delene Hawkins

Starr was a very dear friend to me at Houston Baptist University. She was engaged to Buddy at the same time that I was engaged to my husband to be. She played the guitar at our wedding on August 27, 1976, one month before she and Buddy got married. She had a radiant smile; her whole face would light up when we talked. She went with me when I picked out my wedding china and pottery and I registered for a pattern similar to hers. We haven´t talked or visited in over 40 years, but for some reason, the Lord brought her to my mind this afternoon. She loved Jesus and always encouraged me.
Buddy, I am so sorry for your loss, but I am grateful that we do not grieve as those who have no hope!!
I can´t wait to see her again.
