Mr. Dudley,
You were such an inspiration, and always a person to add a funny twist to every moment shared with you. The first time I recall you driving me home after spending the night with Mary, you drove me home from Huron Woods to Venice of the Woods in your van with funky carpet. You drove what felt like 'D', not even 10 mph. Maybe you were being safe. Maybe you were stretching the moment. It was certainly a memorable ride home as it took forever.

You serving dinner was always a fond memory. {You know what meal to which I am specifically referring.} You even introduced me to frozen blueberries, which I still love to this day, all thanks to you.

I'm praying that you (with the aid and guidance of my Mom, Mary Catherine) followed the WHITE LIGHT and met St. Peter, and didn't follow the BLUE Light of St. K-Mart, to the pearly gates of Heaven.

You saved many lives as a fire FIGHTER and also a PARAMEDIC. Souls you've SAVED. You've made people smile in the midst of living both professionally and as a father, brother, uncle, friend, husband,...the list goes on. You raised STRONG children by your guidance and strong leadership. They will continue on with your legacy with their children.

I know you lived a life of TRUE INTEGRITY. Your presence on earth will be missed but we will all honor you with the legacy, the GIFT, you gave us all that you left behind.

Rest well, Mr. Dudley.
