It was a great pleasure to create, collaborate, and work with you on all of those projects over all of those years.

Those with great talent are the dreamers, doers, and the ones who play it straight up all the time. You were certainly one of those guys.

I can almost hear you and Craig creating some great music up there beyond the Pearly Gates.

People like you don't come along very often. You made magic out of music. And we will really, really miss you.

Tama, we're still in shock. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, along with warm, long distance hugs. I know he's playing some great music (hopefully on a favorite instrument and not a harp). Dr. Tappan made such an impact on my life during my time at Belmont University. I will forever carry the lessons I learned from him during my Senior Capstone course. Hundreds of his former students are where they are today because of his kind heart, wise words, and open door.

Kyle forwarded this Obit from Paris. Wow, what a guy. Sorry I only got to meet him that one time. What a life to celebrate! Obviously his passing was much too soon. My condolences and good luck with everything else. That tall boy from KY.

What a wonderful person and teacher...in that order. He made my graduate experience at Belmont so much fun. Truly a wonderful man. He will be missed.

Timmy never met a stranger. Kind, talented, caring, and a real gentleman. My memories of Timmy are sweet. Deepest sympathies to Tama and family, and prayers for comfort in the days ahead.

Sorry to hear of Tim's passing. I have many pleasant memories of playing around Anderson with Tim in the late 60's. RIP
