Happy Birthday to my Son!

I miss you each and everyday..my thoughts are with you every minute of each day.

I am wearing my beautiful ring that you bought me when you were 11 years old. I will never take it off of my hand it makes me feel close to you.

Tony you are in my heart and the memories I have help me get through these lonely days without you..I shed many tears over you.

You had so many friends that loved you and thought so highly of you. Their love for you has given me great comfort.

You were the best Son a mother could ever have!

I will see you at the pearly gates one day..I can not wait to see you!

Mamie,

I have so many emotions inside that I want to express the loss and hurt I am feeling inside. I know that your hurt and loss as Tony's mother is greater than anyone's.

Tony is and always will be one of the most loving and caring men that I was blessed to know in my lifetime.

He truly loved children and always wanted to have children of his own. But, like me, God decided to give us enough love to go around for everyone's children. And, I know in my heart that Tony was a great "Dad" to Eric and his brother. Anyone can be a biological father but, it takes someone special to be a "Dad".

I know that God was first in his life but, you were next in his life and he always wanted to make certain that you had everything you needed. Mamie a mother could never be loved or cared for any more than how Tony loved and cared for you.

I can remember what a great fisherman he was. He loved to fish and be on the water. Tony never asked for much his greatest reward was giving to others.......

He loved playing pranks on others and making life fun. He was such a joy to be around. I just have to add he really loved his chocolate cakes!!

Tony is in a much better place than we are because there is no more pain and suffering. I know in my heart that on Saturday Jesus called him home by saying "Well done my faithful Servant, come home". When Tony saw the face of Jesus and saw the love Jesus had for him ...Tony hit the ground running into the arms of Jesus. There is no love greater than the love of Jesus.

Tony had Jesus in his heart so he has everlasting life..he will always be with us.

There is no doubt that Tony is in Heaven walking the heavenly shores leaving footprints in the sand just like he did in everyone's heart that he touched here on earth.

I will never forget him.

Uncle Tony was a good man and loving husband and father. He always knew what to say to brighten my day. His smile would make everyone who saw it light up with warmth. No matter what the situation he was always there when he was needed. Truly all who knew him knew what a truly good man is supposed to be. Uncle Tony I will always miss you.

Mamie and Jay,
I cannot imagine what you must be going through. It has been years since I have seen either of you or Tony but my heart is so saddened by this Loss. Tony was always the kindest of souls. I wish I could be there for you, I pray that you find peace in knowing he is in a happy place. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you in the coming days.
Mamie if I can ever do anything for you please let me know, I have always thought of you as my second mom even after not seeing you in so many years.

Mrs. Mamie, I was sorry to hear of Tony's passing. I recall the days when you and the family lived here in Mullins, and brings back some good memories. Sorry I have not been in touch in the later years, and was unaware that Johnny had passed away. I know God will be your comforter during these times. Hope to visit with you soon.
