95, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Cra-Mar Meadows, Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert O. Wheeler, Sr. Veronica worked as a cashier at Crugnale Bakery for many years before retiring. She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Church.
Veronica was the loving mother of Patricia Livesey and her husband James of Smithfield, Diane Tresca and her husband Salvatore of Johnston, Lori Lind and her husband Brian of South Kingstown and the late Robert O. Wheeler, Jr. and David Wheeler; Mother in law of Linda Wheeler and the late Kathleen Wheeler. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Sherrye Durante, Robert O. Wheeler III, David Livesey, Matthew Livesey, Laura Tresca, Annie Tresca, Heather Lind, Jared Lind, Amy Reiner and Joshua Lamothe; great-grandchildren, Dylan Durante, Colin Durante, Myles Livesey, Kai Livesey, Jayce Livesey, Logan Reiner, Colby Reiner and Jaxon Lamothe.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston. The Mass will be live-streamed here: https://www.strobertsparish.org/ Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Hope Alzheimer's Center, 25 Brayton Ave., Cranston, RI 02920 OR HopeHealth Hospice RI, 1085 N Main St. Providence, RI 02904.

I will always remember the times we had as a family and it goes back many years ago at St.Teresa. wonderful lady and will never be forgotten. I was happy when she came to St.Robert and I could at least share things with her
