Wanda Hensley Obituary

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Elizabeth Florence; and her sister, Carol Coffey.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 60 years, Homer Hensley; three children, Gary (Patrice) Hensley, Sherry (Ancil Jr) Bell, and Allen Hensley; two grandchildren, Brett Hensley and Brittany (Brandon) Gillum; and a host of family and friends.
Wanda was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church in Sod, WV, and was a true "Pastor's Wife" and Woman of Faith that never wavered. She spent the last 59 years as a Christian serving her Lord and Savior and wanted everyone to know "I loved Jesus, and he loves me".
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel at Chapmanville, WV, with Mark Ruby, Kurt Dragoo, and Jody Pauley officiating.
Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville, WV.
