Mr. Werner Ewald "Vern" Koechling

Werner E. "Vern" Koechling, age 87, of Broadview Heights, Ohio; beloved husband of Luise C. Koechling (nee Wiegel) for 62 ½ years; loving father of Dieter Koechling (Kris) of Strongsville; dear Opa of Cassie and Kayli; cherished uncle and brother-in-law of many in Germany. Werner was born on Christmas Day 1931 in Lunen, Germany. He was a longtime gifted Carpenter and a member of Carpenters Local Union No. 182 (now Local Union No. 435) for 63 years. He built his own home, and many others in his neighborhood, in addition to decades worth of big construction projects all over Greater Cleveland. He passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019.
