William W. Cooley

Bill was a passionate researcher who wanted to see evaluation play a positive role in the world. He was a great inspiration to my career and I will always remember him as a dedicated and caring mentor.

While I was at PITT, Bill and I were colleagues for over 15 years. We both taught statistics and research methods. He was a great mentor to young faculty and students, as well as a gifted scholar and leader. Those who knew and worked with Bill are blessed.
