He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Karen Franke (Paul); son, Mike Schneider (ChrissAnn); son, Joe Schneider (Heather); and sisters, Marilyn Fielding and Mary Klinglesmith. Also sharing in his legacy are grandchildren, Devin Schneider, Matthew Schneider, Kaelah Schneider, Chloe Schneider, Leah Franke, and Olivia Franke; 4 step grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Joyce Bischoff Schneider; parents, William Carl Schneider, Sr. and Carolyn Schmitt Schneider; and siblings, Kenny Schneider and Carolyn Schneider.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Rd. from 2 PM until 8 PM.
