William Robert Yordy

William (Bill) was the beloved soulmate, best friend and husband of 40+ years to Diane. Friend and Brother-In-Law to Charles (Chuck) and Sue Reti. Proud and loving uncle to his nephew and Godson Nathaniel (Nate Reti).
Beloved Kitty dad to Beaujolais and Cabernet, Juliet, and Bowser & Poochie.
Younger Brother to Charles Yordy (Sharron)
Predeceased by his father George Samuel and mother Elizabeth.
Bill had a long-storied career in accounting, rising from a junior clerk as a young man, to several Controller-ships to the Chief Financial Officer for organizations ranging from automotive, manufacturing, film and video, health care and nonprofit for the developmentally disabled.
He and Diane shared a passion for many activities, including University of Michigan football, fine Wine, cooking and dining, bike riding, and gardening.
Both became Advanced Master Gardeners and volunteered their expertise and time to several groups.
He will be remembered as a kind, generous and fun-loving man by all who knew and loved him of which there were many.
Private funeral services will be taking place. A celebration of Life in Bill's memory will be held at a later date.
Donations for research to combat and conquer the insidious tumor that took Bill from us are respectfully requested in lieu of flowers.
