Winifred Julia Glossop

Winifred passed away at the age of 93 surrounded by the love of her devoted family. She was born on December 7, 1928 in Plymouth, England. She is preceded in death by her husband Randall Glossop, son Thomas Glossop, 5 siblings and parents. Winifred is survived by 5 children Susan Ellis (Richard), Peter Roberts (Janet), Lori Lucas (Kevin), Cynthia Burks (Emalie), Patricia Laske (Steve). Winifred was a devoted grandmother to 8 and great grandmother to 5. She was a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Winifred's early life was heavily influenced by World War II England and the Great Depression. She enjoyed English culture - tea, music (The Beatles) and the Royal Family. After moving to America, she owned an Estate Sale business (Midas Touch) for 40 years while raising her family. She loved celebrating the holidays. She was generous always giving the perfect gift. Winifred was in constant motion and a special person to everyone. She was immensely loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The Visitation will be held from 4-6pm and the Memorial Service will be from 6-7pm at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road, 63122. A family dinner will follow the Service from 7-10pm at Farotto's, 9525 Manchester Road, 63119.
