Karen Sue Foglesong

1947 - 2024

Karen Sue Foglesong passed away on Friday, Jan 05, 2024, at the age of 76. She will be remembered for her kindness, love, and the lasting impact she had on the lives of those around her. Karen Sue's memory will forever live in our hearts. She was born and raised here in Napa, Ca. Her parents were Homer and Marion Posey. She had two sisters, Kathy and Judy. She met Patrick Hamilton at Napa High School, and later got married; they had two children, Lisa and David. Years later Pat and Karen went their separate ways, and in time Karen met Gary Morris and soon got married and lived and enjoyed raising many children, including Gary's, her sister Judy's and her own. A total of 7 children ... which kept her very busy. But in 1998 Gary died in a horrific car accident, in which Karen suffered some injury. But she pulled through and went on caring for the kids. Then in 2001, when online dating became very popular; she met Jess Foglesong -- via Match.com. They eventually tied the knot in December of 2001, and now have been married for 22 years. And on January 5th, with family members surrounding her she passed away into God's hands, and now is enjoying her heavenly reward; as she was indeed a one-of-a-kind human being; special in many ways, and will be deeply missed by her husband, family and the many friends she had touched throughout her 76 years on earth.
