Uwe Helmut Schmidt Naples, FL
Uwe Helmut Schmidt, 49, of Naples, died on November 24, 2012 at home, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born November 28, 1962 in Neumunster, Germany to the late Helmut Schmidt and Adolfina (Faase) Schmidt, and moved to Naples in 2004.
Uwe was the co-owner of Spinners Arcade with business partner, Angela Schultheiss and close friend, Thomas. He loved cars and Formula 1 racing and especially enjoyed the Florida lifestyle.
He is survived by his loving wife, Meredith (Burgan) Schmidt; stepson, Eric Peterson; mother, Adolfina (Faase) Schmidt; sisters, Bearbel Schultz and Karin Muhl. Uwe was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Uwe's memory to Susan G. Kolman for the Cure for breast cancer research.
