Evelyn Shepherd Obituary
NEWARK - A graveside service for Evelyn M. Shepherd, 90, of Newark, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Newark Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Lewis McNerney officiating. Evelyn passed away January 9, 2021, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born March 22, 1930, in Athens, Ohio, to the late Paul D. and Florence A. (White) Robinson.
Evelyn was a member of Life and Praise Worship Center. She volunteered at the Licking County Food Pantry and church pantries.
She is survived by her children, Paul (Sheila) Shepherd of Newark, Cheryl (Gary Triplett) Dawson of Hanover, Scott (Lori) Shepherd of Newark, and Diana Dunlap of Newark; sisters, Marjean Thompson of Newark, Marge Green of Heath, and Janet Conn of Nashport; brother, Jerry (Diane) Robinson; grandchildren, Kelly LaRe, Shannon Shepherd, Angela Shepherd, Jamie Shepherd, Christopher (Abbie) Shepherd, Roberta (Drake Wetzel) Stokes, Angel (Ryan) Smith, and Thomas (Cindi) Stokes; fifteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Shepherd; brother, Carl Robinson; sisters, Donna Sunderland and Thelma Wright, and granddaughter, Cynthia Mohr.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Life and Praise Worship Center.

Sister Evelyn Shephard was a good Christian lady.I can still remember bet singing at the church. I looked up to get as a role model what a good Christian is in God's Eyes. RIP ...Heaven got a little sweeter.
