Ronald Bragg Obituary

Ronald L. Bragg, Sr.

BUCKEYE LAKE: Ronald L Bragg, 76, of Buckeye Lake, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at his residence. He was born on September 8, 1937 in Cabin Creek, West Virginia, son of the late Paul and Helen (Slack) Bragg. Ron proudly served his Country as a Marine from 1954 to 1956. A mechanic and craftsman at heart, Ron enjoyed working on and building various things. He loved browsing yard sales to see what sort of good deal he may find, but most of all he loved his Ohio State Buckeyes.

He is survived by his loving family: wife, Thelma "Susie" Bragg; four sons, Ronald, II (Suzi), Bryan (Kathy), Daniel (Alice), and Richard Bragg; eight grandchildren; four step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, George, Charles and Paul, Jr. (Betty) Bragg; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Hoar and Dianna Shaneyfelt.

Friends may call at the HEBRON Home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 108 N. 7th St., on Monday, August 11, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Ron's life will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Irene Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery.
