Phyllis J. Sharasheff

Phyllis J. Sharasheff, 90, of Farmington, CT died Sunday, May 3, 2020 peacefully after a brief illness at UCONN Health. Phyllis was born in New Britain, CT and was the daughter of the late Steven and Mary (Miller) Sobiech. She grew up in New Britain and eventually moved to Farmington. Phyllis was a graduate of New Britain High School in 1946 she then worked for SNET for many years. Later on she worked for New Britain Sales Co., a company which her husband founded. Phyllis was a member of Temple Sinai Synagogue in Newington. Phyllis will be missed and remembered as the most gracious and loving host always cooking and spending time with her beloved family.
Phyllis is survived by her three daughters Shari Sharasheff of Farmington, CT, Darci Haun of Yardley, PA and Marsha Ahern of Newington, CT, her daughter-in-law Patti Sharasheff of Farmington, CT, her seven grandchildren Donald Ahern, Tara (Ahern) Caetano, Adam Haun, Julia Haun, Rachel Sharasheff and Paige Sharasheff. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Philip Sharasheff her son Bernard Sharasheff and her two grandsons Philip Haun and Bryan Ahern.
A private graveside service will be held Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Beth Alom Cemetery, Allen St., New Britain, CT. There are no calling hours. Shiva will be observed at the convenience of the family. The Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT has charge of arrangements.
