Dave was a wonderful friend during our many years camping at Island Pond & always helpful. Sincere sympathy to Dave's family. Island Pond has lost one of its finest way too soon.

Dave is one of the nicest people we have ever known; truly, genuinely nice! He always had a smile, and a cheerful, positive, attitude. He helped us with many projects over the years. He was always sure to complete the project, to our expectations, before declaring it finished. We are sadly shocked that he has left so suddenly. We will miss him, as there just isn't anyone else like Dave.
We hope the young men who had the privilege of working with Dave, will be interested in continuing his legacy.

My condolences to the family.
Our family camped for many years at Island Pond. Dave had to put up with us going into the campgrounds store to buy penny candy.
In our prayers.

Dave, You will be missed. The community lost a very big person with your passing and you left some very big shoes to fill. Thanks for all you did for the sport of snowmobiling and I will think of you often when I'm at the lookout on the 2000 trail. Enjoy the ride in the clouds now. Réal Cyr

Dave was a great man. You will surely be missed. My best memory of time spent with Dave is when he showed up to my home in Island Pond with a truck full of reclaimed wood and helped me rebuild our secondary trail bridge over the Clyde River. He always had a big smile on his face. Enjoyed riding with him on the trails and hope that he can ride the clouds, full throttle, forever and ever. Ride In Peace.
