Christine Eileen Corbin, 48, of Painesville Township, died Oct. 20, 2013, at her home after a five year fight with cancer.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1965, in Chardon to William and Dolores (Haga) Ringler.
Christine married Patrick Corbin on July 1, 1988, in Chardon and just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows.
Christine was the assistant manager of the Mentor Arby's and she also worked at the Painesville YMCA in daycare, where she also taught the baby-sitting certification class. Christine loved to take care of others, crocheting and crafting many items.
In addition to her parents and husband, survivors include her three daughters, Crystal (Michael) Gerson of Painesville, Tiffany (Chuck) Masters of Eastlake, and Pearl Corbin of Painesville; her beloved dog, Rascal; three grandchildren, Dylan and Alexis Masters and McKayla Gerson; siblings, William (Barb) Ringler, Donna Anderson, Cathy (Neal) Farren, Charles (Jen) Ringler and Mary (Dale) Vokurka; and 11 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sophie Ringler; in-laws, Paul and Shirley Corbin; and brother-in-law, Larry Corbin.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, and from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave. (opposite Lake Erie College) in Painesville.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at Leroy Community Chapel, 12920 Painesville-Warren Road in Leroy with Pastor Tom Chapman presiding. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Please wear pink for the funeral service in support of breast cancer awareness.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Christine Corbin Donation Fund at any Huntington National Bank Branch.

We feel blessed to have known such a courageous, strong, & loving person. We were proud to call her our friend and our lives are all the richer having her in them. Unfortunately the living have to go on without her, but her legacy lives on and we always have the wonderful memories that no one can take away! My best memories of her are on my front porch, eating chicken dip & watching our kids play, and when she would laugh, everyone around her would join in because her laugh was so contagious!
