Dennis Kubach Obituary

Memorial Mass for Dennis P. Kubach, 69, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Fr. Tom Johns will officiate.
Mr. Kubach passed away Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, at his home.
Born Aug. 29, 1948, in Cleveland, he had spent the majority of his life in Lake County, living in Willowick before moving to Willoughby.
Denny was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Mentor. He adored his children and grandchildren, and especially loved watching them play sports. Denny was a lifelong loyal Cleveland Browns fan, loved to watch Cleveland sports and enjoyed fishing, debating politics, and going out for breakfast with friends.
He was the beloved husband of 46 years to Susan D. (nee Schaack) Kubach; loving father of Heather J. (Jeff) Sawitke, Kelly A. (Jeremy) Addis and Brian P. Kubach; cherished grandfather of Brendan, Brooke, Emily and Brady; brother of James (Barb) Kubach, Kathleen Dwyer Kensik and Terry Kubach; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard D. and Elizabeth (nee Sullivan) Kubach.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
