Patricia A. "Pat" Pope

Patricia A. "Pat" Pope, 87, of Mentor, died July 25, 2023 at University Hospitals TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Twp. She was born May 21, 1936 in Lakewood. Pat worked as a nurse at Broadmoor School for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and occasional trips to the casino. Pat was an avid lover of all animals. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Pope; sons, Scott (Kathleen) Pope, and Jeff Pope; and her step grandchildren, Sylvia (Nate) Mance and Veronica Bontempo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marjorie McCraith.The family will receive friends to celebrate Pat's life from 4-8 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2023 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. A funeral mass in her memory will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord Twp.
