Services for Virginia L. (Judkins) Burke, 60, of Chester Township, will be at 11 AM on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 11900 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. The Rev. Mark Matzke will officiate at the service.The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Friday, July 16, 2021 and from 10-11 AM on Saturday, prior to the service.Virginia went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 12, 2021 after a four-year battle with cancer. Born August 2, 1960 in Painesville, she lived in Chester Township for the past 27 years.She was an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, where she was the teacher and director for the Church Preschool. She was also an active volunteer with the West Geauga Marching Band, where she headed up the uniform room for eight years.Survivors are her husband of 35 years, Jim; sons, Benjamin, Patrick (Dellamarie), Timothy and Joshua; grandson, Desmond and her mother, Betty Judkins.She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Judkins and brother, Terry Judkins.Private family interment will be in Willoughby Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to St. Mark Preschool.
