Deepest sympathies to Barbara and the Snow Family on Bill's passing. Bill and I worked closely for over four years in Marketing at the Ohio Lottery. He taught me much about media sales, and other marketing tricks of the trade. He was a devout family man, and loved his family deeply. I enjoyed his wit, and his ability to think quickly on his feet. Politically astute, he often would strive to do the right thing. Bill's passing leaves a hole in Mentor's heart. Bill Snow was a man of his word, and admired by all.

Dear Barbara, Bill and Geoffrey, please accept my sincerest sympathy for your great loss. Bill Snow was simply one of a kind. Few people whom I have met in this life were as bright, energetic and fun-loving as Bill. He was a wonderful storyteller - so animated and dramatic at times - in a sense, I always felt that it was all theater to him. He was a success at media sales, managing the Ohio Lottery and his years of service to the city of Mentor. To me, however, his biggest success was his devotion to his loving family, for they were the center of his universe. One of my favorite memories of him happened when worked together at Nineteen, WOIO. You see, Bill had his own organizational style for on his desk were piles of paper (proposals, letters, contracts, etc.). For weeks I had asked him to (in my words), "clean up this mess." He would smile and tell me that he knew where everything was! One day, while he was out on a call, I took every piece of paper off of his desk and placed them in a large plastic bin on the floor, so finally you could see the wood of the desktop. When he came back to the office, I was waiting for him by his cubicle; he saw the papers in the bin next to his desk and then he saw me. Just then, his phone rang, all I hear of the conversation was Bill saying, "yes, I have that right here, please hold on." Then, he proceeded to meticulously go through the papers in the bin looking for what he needed. At the time, he did not acknowledge the bin of papers or me - as they say in acting, he did not break character. A week later, I walked by his desk and again it contained stacks 6 inches high! At the time, I didn't say anything and neither did Bill. Soon afterwards, it became a funny story that we would laugh about. All this goes to say that Bill Snow had his own way of doing things and his methods served him and many people for his entire life. He was a huge success with his family, his faith and his career. I know his loss is felt by the many people he touched in this life...farewell, my friend

Bill Snow was a good man. He was my 6th grade math teacher and I recall he was strict but fair. I learned a lot from him. Later in life he worked for Mentor Zoning where he was also very fair. All of my memories of Mr. Snow are good and I am deeply sorry for the loss to his family.
