I was just in the new Publix store in the Trails (the old store was #203), and was thinking about Fred. Haven't seen him since the 1980's. So sad to see he has passed. He was the nicest guy in all of Publix that I ever met. Never lost his cool, never shouted or yelled at people. Just a great person and fun to work for. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.

Fred & I worked together in the beginning years of our careers at Publix in the Trails shopping center. Also enjoyed running into him In the years to follow. He was an inspiration to many. A great loss to many but Heaven has gained an angel.
