Funeral service for Lori Ann Allen, 51, who passed away peacefully Jan. 16, 2012, will be held Friday at 2:00 pm at the Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Ave., Holly Hill. Friends wishing to call and pay their respects may do so Thursday from 5 until 7 pm at the funeral home. She was born in Valpariso, Indiana and moved to Ormond Beach in 1968. Lori graduated from Seabreeze High School in 1968 and furthered her schooling to become a dental assistant. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 267 in Ormond Beach and the Epiphany Catholic Church in Port Orange. An animal lover, Lori also collected lighthouses. Donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 330 North St., Daytona Beach, 32114. Lori was preceded in death by her mother Alice and a sister Kathy Evans. Survivors include her son and his wife, Chris (Bub) and Amy; her companion of eight years, Gary Timberlake; her father and his companion, Lee Grieger and Louise Furness; three brothers, Jim Grieger, her twin, Larry Grieger and Kevin; and four grandchildren.
