Pearl Lynne Gill, (nee Davis) went home to be with the Lord Jesus on October 18, 2020 in Port Orange, after a long battle with cancer.
Pearl was born in Gloucester County New Jersey on June 26, 1946. She attended Pitman High School. She met her husband also from Gloucester County , married and moved to Florida and started a family.
Preceded by her parents Abraham R. Davis and Coralyn F. Davis (nee Johann) and brother A.R. Davis Jr.
Survivors include her husband Patrick Gill; four children, David Michael, Daniel, Kenneth, and Brenda; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild, and siblings Emily, Ruth, Dorothy Davis, and Eileen Murphy.
Service will be held Saturday October 24 at Harbor Baptist Church 428 Tomoka Ave. Ormond Beach at 9:45 am.
Her life was an example of a Christian walk. She was a loyal, faithful wife, a devoted mother, and a kind, sweet sister. A blessing to everyone. She radiated her love for Jesus, for her family and love for others. Her warmth will be solely missed. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.dalewoodwardfuneralhomes.com

I will forever remember Pearl’s beautiful smile. It was angelic, and one look at her, and you felt warmth radiating, and a welcoming in your soul. From what I knew of Pearl, I would think she never met a stranger. It seems to we humans, that the Lord takes some of the best, far too soon. I know you are in a happy and peaceful place now, Pearl. It’s the ones that are left behind that will miss you and keep you close in their hearts until the day comes when you can greet each member of your family as they arrive on the beautiful shores. The sweetest kindest lady you could ever meet my aunt pearly p you left us way too soon but we sure have some great memories and family times love you miss you look forward to seeing you in heaven above thank you Aunt pearly p for your smile and laughter & love.

I smile when I remember Pearl and the light, love, and kindness that she shared with all that crossed her path. She was such a prayer warrior and an inspiration to me and so many others. I am thankful to know that she is at home with Jesus now with no more pain, suffering, or tears. I will miss her and am grateful that I am closer in my walk with Jesus because of her. Goodbye for now until we meet again.

Pearl was the light in the room, the softest of a kiss and the warmth of the sun all wrapped up in one. I will miss my friend terribly but she is with Jesus now and he/she will enjoy every minute.

I'm so thankful to God for my little sister I called you my angel because you were always there for me to share fun times you were a confidant a sweet and generous sister when I leave post by you would walk over and bring me a rose from the bush our brother gave you if you made extra soup or chili you would walk over and share some with me you always made me feel special I'm thankful you're not in pain anymore you always were the one who prayed with even Perfect Strangers while out shopping if they mentioned they were hurting but it was their finger or their back you would ask them and you would take the time to pray with them right there right then wherever you were you were a blessing to everyone and you will be sorely missed especially by your big sister Emily this world is not our home we're just passing through our Treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue the Angels backing you from Heaven's Open Door and you can't feel at home in this world anymore Lord you know we have no friend like you Heaven is our home Lord what can we do only what we do for you will last for eternity only What's Done For Christ will last only one life twill soon be past I love you Pearl forever and ever and I hours I will see you
