Jerry Hall

Jerry Hall aged 69 of Monett, MO, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday February 11, 2013 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO following a long illness. Jerry was born on March 15, 1943 in Butterfield, MO the son of the late Hershal and Marjorie (Douthitt) Hall. He was united in marriage on May 18, 1962 in Purdy, MO to Patricia Rose, she survives.

Jerry graduated from Purdy High School in 1961, worked at Jumping Jacks Shoe Corp. for 16 years before co-founding Jack Henry and Associates in 1976. He enjoyed spending his free time spoiling his grandkids, projects in his shop and driving his John Deere tractors.

Jerry is survived by wife: Patricia; one son: Jeff Hall and wife Valerie of Republic, MO; two daughters: Janet Wimsatt and husband Paul of Monett, MO, and Deborah Gollhofer and husband Michael of Monett, MO.

Additional survivors include one brother: Dr. Kenneth Hall and wife Ann of Purdy, MO; two sisters: Sharon Clifton and husband Loren of Purdy, MO, and Rebecca Parrett and husband Jerry of Nixa, MO. Five grandchildren: Brett and Gabrielle Gollhofer, Jon, Tim and Heather (Hall) Shackelford, Three great-grandsons, and a host of nieces, nephews and grand-dogs.

Visitation for Jerry will be held Friday February 15, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City, MO with Rosary to follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday February 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City, MO with Father Peter Morciniec officiating. Burial will follow services at Arnhart Cemetery in Purdy, MO.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to St. Mary's Catholic School in Pierce City, MO.

Arrangements are under the care of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, MO.
