John Herd Obituary
John Robert "J.R." Herd, Fair Grove, MO. son of John Dwight Herd and Zelma Murrell O'Dell was born December 19, 1931 in Fair Grove, Missouri and departed this life March 22, 2014 at the age of eighty-two years.
J.R. is survived by his wife Susie of the home; two sons, Gary Herd and Mark Herd and Kim all of Fair Grove; one granddaughter, Hope Herd and Brad Douglas of Fair Grove; two sisters, Jane Stafford and Portia Brayfield and Jerry, all of Fair Grove; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Day Funeral Home, Marshfield. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Fair Grove, Missouri. Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Missouri Junior Angus Association Foundation Scholarship or Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Association and left in care of the funeral home.

Norma and I are so sorry for your loss. We have many fond memories of our time with JR and family. He was kind to us and a very supportive man. We will miss him.
