Obituary
Pauline M. Boardman, 63, a resident of Alva, formerly Bonita Springs and Lehigh Acres, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2004 while under the compassionate care of Hope Hospice. Pauline was born July 29, 1941 in Owosso, MI to the late Charles and Freda (Dreuth) Marsh. She was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Carpenter's Union in Flint, MI. Pauline was a dynamic person who was very energetic and hard working. But she also was extremely outgoing, friendly and enjoyed the company of family and friends. She and her husband D.C. Boardman owned and operated their own business specializing in the manufacturing and fabrication of acoustical ceiling tile and metal partitions. Away from work she found great relaxation in arts and crafts and Pauline was extremely creative with silk flowers. Pauline was also a representative of Home Interiors. She and D.C. also shared the love of caring for standard bred horses. They also had the privilege to travel extensively throughout the States and Canada appreciating the unique beauty of every place they visited. On October 24th she and D.C. celebrated their 45th Wedding Anniversary.
In addition to her loving husband Pauline is survived by her five children: Michele Marie Buen, Bonita; Julie Lynn Raden, Ft. Myers; Brian (DiAnn) Boardman, Alva; Scott (Michele) Boardman, Smithtown, Long Island, NY; Brad (Carrie) Boardman, Oakley, MI; seven grandchildren: Jeremie, Kyle, Dennis, Adam, the twins Stephen and Tyler, and Nicholas; her brothers and sister: Robert (Sharon) Marsh, Owosso, MI; James (Joyce) Marsh, Lansing, MI; Barbara (Richard) Wheeler, Corunna, MI; a sister-in-law: Joyce Marsh, Owosso, MI.
Pauline was preceded in death by her brother William Marsh.
Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 1, 2004 at the Farley Funeral Home, Lehigh Acres, corner of Lee Boulevard and Williams Avenue (enter from Williams Avenue). Following cremation her ashes will be placed in Alaska.
