Nancy Smith Obituary
She is survived by her loving daughter, Elizabeth Carisa Wilkerson; two granddaughters, Meghan A. Schoeffel and Lauren A. Wilkerson; and her devoted nephew, Carl Vaughan Miller.
She was born in Amherst, Va., on June 2, 1940, to parents, Dr. Lyddane Miller and Elizabeth Parr Miller. She lived in several areas to include Arlington and Lynchburg eventually retiring in Richmond. She was much loved by her family and her group of friends from both her childhood home in Amherst, the "Ya-Ya's", and by her "Richmond Crew". She had a full career in the medical field to eventually retire and spend time painting, gardening, playing bridge, as well as time with her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 9, 2022, at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, Richmond, Va. from 12 until 3 p.m. No mourning attire please as we celebrate her love of nature and color.
