Sally Lyons Davidson Hunt

Sally Lyons Davidson Hunt of 1408 Northwood Circle, Lynchburg, Virginia, died on Monday, October 31, 2022.

Sally was born on January 10, 1946, at Virginia Baptist Hospital in Lynchburg Virginia. She was the daughter of the late James Lyons Davidson and the late Jette Baker Davidson.

Sally is survived by her husband, William Reese Hunt; her children, William Reese Hunt Jr. and wife, Leslie, of Whitefish, Montana, Jette Baker Hunt Youngblood and her husband, Jon, of Logan, Utah, and Belle Lanier Hunt Evans and her husband, Chad, of Lynchburg, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Zoe and Iris Hunt of Montana, Jack, Maggie, and Milo Youngblood of Utah, and Reese and Jimmy Evans of Lynchburg.

Sally is also survived by her brothers, James Lyons Davidson Jr. and his wife, Trudy, and William Scott Davidson and his wife, Gena, of Lynchburg; her sister, Suejette Davidson Brown and her husband, Paul David Brown, of Greensboro, North Carolina; and her brother-in-law, Steve Hunt of Birmingham, Alabama.

Sally was baptized, confirmed, married, and will be buried in the columnbarium of her church, St John's Episcopal in Lynchburg Virginia.

Sally spent many years happily working at the Farm Basket making lifelong friends with her co-workers and customers.

Sally loved spending time with her husband of 55 years and her family. She was a devoted wife and an amazing mother. She was a loyal friend to all that knew her.

A private family burial service will be on Monday, November 7, 2022.
