Wallace Arthur Obituary
Wallace was born on December 7, 1933, in Bedford, Virginia. He was the president of WBG Masonry, INC. A family business he started in the 1980's from which he retired. He loved to collect antiques and restored many cars. Wallace could be described as an honest, handy, and hardworking man.
He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Litchford Arthur; children, Gary Arthur and wife, Kirsten, Barry Arthur and wife, Vicky; grandchildren, Jordon Arthur and wife Heather, Grayson Arthur, Hannah Carpenter and husband, Caleb, Leah Arthur; brother Ray Arthur and wife Emma; sister-in-law's, Ann Zimmerman, and Betty Arthur.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford. A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, October 2, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Virginia Memorial Park with David McGrath officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Jehovah's Witness through jw.org.
