COAL TOWNSHIP - Eileen M. Lamb-Adams, 78, of Coal Township, passed away on Thursday morning, Feb. 23, 2023, at Mountain View: A Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Ashland, Aug. 31, 1944, a daughter of the late James and Mary (Noon) Kane.
She was a graduate of Catholic High School, in Mount Carmel.
Eileen had worked as a nurse's aide until her retirement.
She enjoyed the time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Rachel Lamb and her companion, Brian Woodley; two sons, David Lamb and A.J. Adams and his companion, Stacey Vincenzes; four grandchildren, Drisauna Falk, Bryson Woodley, Michael Adams and Meyrick Lamb; a great-grandson, Emmitt Hockenbrach; 10 siblings and their spouses, Sister Maureen St. Anne, IHM, Sister Anne Kane, MSC, Theresa Francis and Paul Caruso, Rita and Jerry Becoski, Paula and Tom Ryan, Michael and Heidi Kane, Sarah Kane, Joe and Janelle Kane, Sheila and Bill Klementovich, and Maureen and Dan Orlando; a brother-in-law, Ed Herwick; and a sister-in-law, Sue Kane. She was also adored as Aunt Eileen to the dozens of her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, William Kane, Jerry Kane and his wife, Ginger, and James R. Kane; and a sister, Barbara Herwick.
LAMB-ADAMS - Eileen M. Lamb-Adams, 78, of Coal Township. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1115 Walnut St., Ashland, with the Rev. Giuseppe C. Esposito, pastor, officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 and 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. The Joseph J. Stutz Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, Joseph J.
