Elizabeth Carrera Obituary
Born in Scranton on Feb. 13, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfredo Carlucci.
She was a member of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church.
Mrs. Carrerra is survived by her husband of 70 years, Samuel J. Carrera; four sons, Salvatore G. Carrera of Fort Myers, Fla., Alfred J. Carrera of Harrisonville, Robert J. Carrera of Enola and James C. Carrera of Middletown; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard J. Carrera, in 1969.

CARRERA — Elizabeth M. Carrera, 89, of 22 Oak Hill Drive, Middletown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Louis P. Ogden as celebrant. Burial will be iat St. Mary's Cemetery, Middletown. Viewing will be at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to Seven Sorrows Parish Development Program, 280 N. Race St., Middletown 17057. Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 260 E. Main St., Middletown, has charge of arrangements.
