BERWICK - Linda E. Lutz, 60, of Berwick, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.
She was born in Berwick, June 2, 1962, a daughter of the late Robert and Barb (German) Lutz.
Linda was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1980.
She was later employed at Bloomsburg Healthcare where she worked as a laundry attendant for many years.
Linda loved the beach. She especially enjoyed visiting Wildwood, New Jersey. She loved Christmastime and enjoyed decorating for the holidays. She also liked going to the Bloomsburg Fair. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Linda will be greatly missed by her husband of 39 years, Carl E. Smith; her son, Brandon J. Smith, of Berwick; two grandchildren, Skylar Smith, of Berwick, and Gabriel Sando, of Lebanon; two sisters, Janet Deater, of Lime Ridge, and Deb Ziegler and her husband, Richard, of Kulpmont; and a brother, John Lutz and his wife, Crystal, of Lime Ridge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph R. Smith; a brother-in-law, Raymond; and her grandparents.
LUTZ - Linda E. Lutz, 60, of Berwick. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 E. Third St., Nescopeck. Family will receive friends from noon until the time of service Thursday. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Online messages of comfort may be sent to [email protected].
