Marie Krakowski Obituary

LITITZ - Marie A. Krakowski, 78, of 7 Windsor Lane, died Friday, March 16, 2018, at Hospice Community Care Unit, Mount Joy.

She was born in Ashland, June 28, 1939, a daughter of the late Bernard and Mary (Grybash) Rydzeski.

Marie was a published writer and homemaker.

On Feb. 7, 1959 in the former St. Joseph's Church, Mount Carmel, she married Henry A. Krakowski, who survives.

Marie was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, Ephrata, and previously was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Mount Carmel.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Christopher Krakowski and his wife, Beth, of Lititz, and Mark Krakowski and his wife, Lisa, of Milford; a brother, Eugene Rydzeski and his wife, Rosalie, of Carlisle; two grandsons, Sean Krakowski and Andrew Krakowski; a granddaughter, Alexandra Krakowski; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by two brothers, Lenny Rydzeski and Joseph Rydzeski; and a sister, Claire Boyle.

KRAKOWSKI - Marie A. Krakowski, 78, of 7 Windsor Lane, Lititz. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 23, 2018, in Divine Redeemer Church, 300 West Avenue, Mount Carmel with Father Martin O. Moran III, officiating. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. in C. J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel, C. J. Lucas, IV, Supervisor. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice Community Care Unit, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy, PA 17552.
