Roy Perry Obituary
Age: 72 • Staunton
Roy "Wayne" Perry, 72, of Staunton, went to his heavenly home surrounded by his entire family on Monday, April 25, 2016. He was born in Augusta County on June 9, 1943, son of the late Roy Wellington Perry and Mary Ellen Morrison Perry.
Wayne was retired from Hershey Chocolate with over 25 years of service and was a member of Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church. He was a graduate of James Madison University with a degree in Business Administration. He was Honorably Discharged from the U. S. Army where he served in the Military Police.
He is survived by his wife, Dana Manley Perry, they were married December 18, 1971; three children,
Matthew Wayne Perry and his wife Tracey Pietron Perry of Raleigh, North Carolina, Diana "Dee Dee" Renee Perry of Staunton and Michael Justin Perry and his wife, Laura Botkin Perry and five grandchildren, Charles Wellington Perry, Nathan Matthew Perry, Alexis Grace Perry, Caroline Faith Perry and Asher Wren Perry.
Graveside funeral service with U. S. Army Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Augusta Memorial Park, 1775 Goose Creek Road, Waynesboro conducted by The Rev. Merle Fisher. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery for the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in his name be made to Hospice of the Shenandoah, C/O Augusta Health Foundation, P. O. Box 1000, Fishersville, VA 22939 or Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church, 30 Tinkling Spring Dr., Fishersville, VA 22939.

Prayers to the Perry family from South Carolina. I worked with Wayne for many years on the same line at Hershey Chocolate. Great times were had by all, with plenty of fun and laughter.
