Barbara Williams Jones

Nashville

Barbara Williams Jones, 75, of Nashville, NC, passed away October 14, 2014 from leukemia. She and her husband, Larry, both originally from Craven County, owned Maus Music Center in Rocky Mount for over 35 years. Barbara enjoyed meeting the area's music teachers and made many life-long friends through the business. She was a member of Nashville United Methodist Church and of Birchwood Country Club. She is survived by daughters Pamela Jones Harris and Amanda Jones Davis, and by son Gregory Brian Jones, and by grandchildren Joshua Harris, Bethany Walker, and Brian Jones. She is also survived by brother John F. Williams and sister Candace W. Cleve.The funeral wilI be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 18, in the sanctuary of Nashville United Methodist Church, 209 East Washington St, Nashville, NC 27856. Visitation will follow at the family's home at 206 S. Collins St., Nashville, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests charitable donations to the American Cancer Society at 800 227-2345, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
