Christopher Yount Obituary
February 3, 1962 - October 6, 2014
Cary
Chris Yount, 52, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2014. Chris graduated from Cary High School in 1981 and spent many years as a craftsman doing what he loved. Chris is survived by his parents Lee and Faye Yount; a brother, Ricky Yount and sister in-law, Janet; a sister, Jodie Yount; nephew, Luke Yount; niece, Lily Yount; and a daughter. Chris is also survived by many other relatives and friends. A celebration of Chris' life will be held on Sunday, October 19, at White Deer Park Nature Center, 2400 Aversboro Road, Garner, NC 27529 from 5 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Transitions LifeCare at 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.

My parents and Chris's were friends before we were born.Needless to say I've known them my entire life. I adore his parents along with Ricky and Jodie. I am more than sadden by the lose of their oldest son.I pray they can find some peace with the void that Chris's passing has left.

I went to high school with Chris and we had so much fun and so many laughs together. Chris was a great and caring person . So glad he was a part of my high school experience . He is going to be so missed.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Chris' passing. We graduated together. Chris was always so kind...to everyone. He was always smiling and had a great laugh. May God' peace and love surround you all , Yount family.

I am so sorry you are having to go through this. You have been like an extended part of our family my whole life and you all mean so much to me. Unfortunately I will be in Tennessee this weekend and will not be back until Monday so I will be unable to attend Chris' service but know that our thoughts, prayers, and love are with you no matter where we are. As I heard the news about Chris today, I could not help but think about all the good times we had for the early part of our lives and the many stories we still talk about from time to time. While I have not seen him in several years, I still think about what a good friend he was to me and many others that grew up with him. Today my thoughts go out to Chris and especially to his Family whom I also have fond memories of from our youth. May God Bless You and Rest in Peace my Friend.

I have nothing but fond and fun memories of time spent with Chris. I've been reflecting on the many adventures….The High School fun, Cruising to Myrtle Beach in the Corvette wearing many layers of bandana's and a Members Only Jacket, time spent on the lake skiing and how much fun we had as roommates! You will be missed Chris but not forgotten. May you rest in peace with the Lord, My deepest sympathy to the Yount Family?
