Dear Alice and family, I have a heavy heart knowing I will not see Freddie and his smile again. I feel as, I know the family and other friends do, no one can replace him.. He was special to many people. Everyone knew how much he loved you and how much you meant to him.
May God continue to bless you all.

Mrs Cash,
I am so sorry about the loss of your husband. Sixty three years is a long time being together.
My prayers are with you and your family in the healing of your loss.

Let's see where to begin. Fred and Alice were neighbors and great friends of my Mother & Daddy...Ellen & Prentice Cameron. I use to babysit Paula and Gray, Marcia and Gray, the Raynors. I learned to play pool at the cabin, then their basement. They kept me up to date with what was going on in Apex when they came to the beach. Freddie was always a lot if fun, great dancer and a true gentleman. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. But trust me when I say he is at a party now with family and loads of friends. We may be sad but we must remember that he is in good hands and is waiting on all of us to join someday.

I have many fond memories of Freddie. He and my Dad were golfing buddies. When I made my first birdie he gave me his golf ball as a token of my accomplishment. He was always warm, kind and generous. I will always remember Freddie.

First time Fred and Eliana met. Love at first sight!
