Suzy Roberts Garrett, 43, passed away Monday after a long and courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ross Carter officiating.
Surviving family includes her children Emma, Sam and Bailey Garrett; parents, Tom and Becky Roberts; sister, Amy Roberts McGuire and husband, Patrick McGuire; niece, Olivia Hobbs; husband, Clark Garrett; uncles and aunts, J. Chip Boykin and wife, Barbara, Hilda Hare, Glenda Boswell and husband, Danny and many cousins.
The family will receive friends following the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Suzy's name to: Back Pack Buddies, c/o Horne Memorial UMC 121 E. 2nd Street, Clayton, NC 27520. A private burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made to the Garrett family at www.mclaurinatpine crest.com
