Victor Willis

Victor Nicholas Willis, Age 65, resident of Hanover, PA and most recently Clayton, NC, died January 20, 2010 at the Britthaven Nursing Home in New Bern, NC after a year long battle with liver cancer.
Victor was born September 1, 1944 in Baltimore, MD and was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Cecil Willis and Julia Willis Krokowski, as well as an uncle, Nicholas Scheel, all of Baltimore, MD.
Victor leaves behind children Gary Willis (Ginger) of Frisco, Texas and Jennifer Willis Lamal (Christopher) of Green Bay, WI along with grandsons John Willis and Nickolas Lamal. Additional family includes Sister Marie M. White (Ronald), nieces Donna Zarachowicz (John), Darlene Stutelberg (Paul), great niece Shannon Zarachowicz, and great nephews Chuck Poole, Nicholas Stutelberg and Anthony Stutelberg, all of Forest Hill, MD, and Brother Arthur Cecil Willis, Jr. along with nephew John and niece Debbie.
Dad was a veteran of the Air Force who enjoyed the outdoors and his dogs. He had recently retired from Talecris Biotherapeutics and was looking forward to enjoying the next phase of his life when it was cut short. He was previously employed by Klondike in Hanover, PA.
Dad was a smart, hard working man that enjoyed tinkering in the garage and watching television.
The family would like to thank the staff of Britthaven for their care and compassion, along with the Hospice nurses who cared for Dad in his final days, especially Linda and Rebeccah.
Dad’s wishes were to be cremated and we thank Larry and the staff of Pollock-Best funeral services in New Bern, NC for their support, comfort, and assistance with the arrangements.
