Passed away February 5, 2015 in Santa Barbara. He was born September 11, 1956 to JoAnn Crawford and Richard Purcell Horton. He grew up in Santa Barbara and attended local schools. His father predeceased him in 1969. He is survived by his mother JoAnn Horton Strahorn, his sister Ann Schubert and her husband Keith, brothers Richard Horton, Thomas Horton and his wife Ceylon, nephews David and Sam Horton and nieces Loren and Serena Horton. The family wishes to thank Dr. Gupta, Hangama Abassi and the staff of the Sansum Clicnic Oncology Department for their attentive care during his illness. We are also thankful to the Serenity House for making his last days here so peaceful. At his request a private family memorial was held. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle who will be remembered and missed every day.
