Aka Dolores Bonilla, age 93 of Santa Barbara passed away June 14, 2013. Born February 4, 1920 in Texas and raised in Santa Barbara until moving with her family to Hawaii in 1956. Cherishing the islands until widowed in 1974 thereafter returning to California after more than 25 years.
Dolores is survived by brothers Pablo and Frank Mata; sisters Bertha Ryder, Mary Razo and Esther Galvez. Son Leo Bonilla, Jr.; daughters Evelyn Pedro, Linda Amerino, Cindy Price and Rosalie Robledo and generations of grandchildren.
Funeral services at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Welch-Ryce-Haider Chapel. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Sarah House Hospice.
