Died: February 25, 2022 in Oglesby, IL
Albert John Mance, 85, of Oglesby, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 at his home.
According to his wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to the Prey-Mueller Funeral Home, Oglesby.
Mr. Mance was born January 3, 1937 in Chicago to John and Isabel (Petroski) Mance. He married Vallerie Nielsen on April 24, 1976 in Joliet.
Mr. Mance was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as an independent insurance agent for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and was a Chicago White Sox fan.
Survivors include his wife, Vallerie; two sons, Douglas (Renee) Mance of Geneseo and Greg (Heather) Mance of Crystal Lake and four grandchildren, Olivia, Chloe, Audrey and Griffin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Michael Mance.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

Sorry, Val, for the loss of your husband. I knew you married just before me , in 1977. Also, knew baby Greg was born while we worked at Silver Cross Hospital 68-73.
Hope you are fine I retired as a Certified Illinois School Nurse from Chicago Public School and previously 20 yrs OR from Baylor U, Dallas, Tx. My Brenda born about time of Greg. My Colleen is 42yrs.We adopted her from Dr Khater rip.
Lot of spouses are age are I´ll or other .
