Born: October 27, 1984 in Spring Valley, IL
Died: January 3, 2023 in Duluth, MN
Amanda Lyn (Wallis) Moriarity, 38, passed away unexpectedly January 3, 2023, in Duluth, Minnesota at St. Mary's Hospital.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturday January 7 at the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle. Cremation will follow services. A Celebration of Life dinner will follow services at Cabin Fever Restuarant in Peru.
Amanda was born October 27, 1984 in Spring Valley, IL to Dona Bartlett and Andy Wallis. She married William John Moriarity, and they had two beautiful children, Vienna and Gweneth Moriarity. Amanda was a registered nurse for 6 years. She worked at Torrance Memorial Hospital for 4 years. Amanda touched many lives throughout her journey--a true angel on earth.
Amanda is survived by her husband William Moriarity, her daughters Vienna and Gwen, father Andy Wallis, her sisters Veronica and Angie Bartlett, brother Logan Wallis, grandmother Donna Downey, stepfather Pat Bartlett, grandmother Faye Canady, her aunt Tina Neumann, and also many other aunts, uncles, and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her mother Dona Bartlett and grandfather Jack Downey.
