I worked with Richard, we called him Dick Howard for many years at Caterpillar. He was a very smart, kind, and considerate man. He loved God and his family. Rest well sir.

I knew Mr. Howarth since 1986 when I became friends with his son, Matt. Mr. Howarth was a great guy that always welcomed me into his home and loved to joke around (even if sometimes he was the only one who laughed). I saw him last 4th of July when he came to Indianapolis to support his grandson's bowling tournament and I was glad we got to catch up. I just wish it wasn't the last time I'd see him. He will be missed.
