Died: April 3, 2023 in Peoria, Illinois
Thomas P. Kelly, 64, of LaSalle passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023 at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley.
He was born in LaSalle on October 6, 1958, to John and Jean (Nesti) Kelly.
He had worked at Lou's LaGrotto in Peru for 30 years.
On September 30th, 2022, our family had a life changing health crisis as our brother Thom was brought to Peoria in cardiac failure. Thom was an identical twin to his brother Dan. Thom and Dan as twins were inseparable throughout Thom's entire life, the bond was always remarkable. Thom was always the kindest, hardworking guy around. He loved his family, friends and all he knew throughout his life! To know Thomas P. Kelly was to love him! Thom will be greatly missed. He had great interest in obscure music, music stores, book stores, hiking and the simple things in life. Thom would spread his love where ever he went and not to mention his incredible sense of humor which carried him through the good times and the bad times. Thom, fly high with the angels now! Go White Sox!
Survivors include 2 sisters, Marijeanne Ploch of Cedar Point; Kathleen Kelly Ballerin of Spring Valley; 3 brothers, Jack (Tanya) Kelly of Decatur; William (Terri) Kelly of LaSalle; Daniel Kelly of LaSalle; step father, Raymond Kollar of Peru; and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jean (Kelly) Kollar and 2 nephews.

My daughter just informed me of Tom’s passing . I hadn’t seen Tom for a while but when I did it was a fun filled spirited conversation. Tom was a great guy who was loved by all ! My condolences to the Kelly family. He had the greatest personality and will be missed by all.
