Just yesterday I was talking about Greg and all his wonderful qualities as a person and vet. The older I get the more I appreciate his help and presence when he was here with us. I miss him often when horse issues come up and I would have turned to him for advice and help. Greg made a great impact on my family and horses.

Met Gary in 2005 when we moved to Charlottesville. Such a great guy! Obvious that he loved his work. Had a wonderful dinner at his home. As we dined, the horses walked by and whinnied to us! So sorry he is gone.

A truly great man, I have wonderful memories with. Riding his famous horse Sherman, fox hunting, swimming at Red Horse Farm. Coming at 5 in the morning when my mare foaled in his PJ's lol. Excellent vet, compassionate with animals and their caretaker. We will all miss this wonderful man

We first met Greg in 1981. He was our vet, but also became a good friend as he helped us care for the numerous horses that came into our family. Our daughter Renee often groomed for Greg and we often attended the same horse trials. He had a wonderful smile and a "what ever it took" attitude toward helping the horses.Greg truly loved his job and the horses that came thru his practice. He will be missed. May he ride forever on his favorite horse !
