Charles Wesley Wright, SR.
September 1, 1926 - September 18, 2021
Charles W. Wright Sr. passed away peacefully at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by family. Born in Lynchburg, SC to the late Walter and Geneva Wright, Charles was predeceased by his wife Amanda. He retired from Winchester Repeating Arms after 35 years. He is survived by his children: Teresa Worthy-Cohens (Odell), Charles Jr. (Linda), Kathy, Bruce (Kathy), Deborah Henderson (Thomas), Michael, Geneva Cummings (Robert). A daughter, Annie Cummings (Harry) preceded him in death. Also grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The Celebration of Life will be Saturday, Oct 2nd; Viewing 8 a.m., Funeral 9 a.m. at Union Temple FWB Church, 54 Platt St., New Haven. Services entrusted to McClam Funeral Home.
