SOLKOSKE, ROBERT A. Robert A. Solkoske, 70, of Northford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the St. Raphael’s campus of Yale New Haven Hospital. Robert was born in New Haven on February 11, 1945; son of the late Lawrence and Alyce M. Murray Solkoske; served his country faithfully in the US Army during the Vietnam era; had worked as a heat and frost insulator for Local #33. Brother of his twin sister Roberta (Frank) Whitcher, Joyce (Ernest) Rennie and JoAnn Lenihan. Uncle of Deborah Signor, Keith Rennie and Jeffrey Sinski. Also survived by Robert and June Passmore who were like his second family. Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home 36 Washington Avenue, Wednesday afternoon, March 25th at 12:00 pm. Family and friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O.
